FIRE ALARM SYSTEM

A conventional fire alarm system consists of initiating devices grouped in a single line and connected to the control panel.

The CSP fire alarm system is intended for installation in smaller facilities, e.g:

CSP-200 and CSP-100 series control panels

The CSP family consists of four models, which differ in the number of zones (supervised lines), programmable outputs and the way in which information about the system status is presented.

Selection of a model depends on the size of the facility and operation method.

Necessary system components

We offer all the necessary devices required to set up a fire alarm system: manual call points (suitable for indoor and outdoor installation), automatic smoke detectors, heat detectors and multisensor detectors. This way the security level can be individually adapted to protected facility.

Automatic notification of emergency services

The control panels have dedicated outputs for other systems, which relay information on fire or damage. Connecting the CSP systems to specialised monitoring systems allows to automatically alarm fire-fighting services.

Reasonable investment

Due to lower implementation and maintenance costs, as well as simpler daily operation, conventional systems such as CSP are a good choice for smaller installations.
It is important to remember that every fire alarm system requires regular testing of all of its elements.

User benefits

Our Fire Alarm System (FAS) meets the stringent safety standards of the EN 54 guidelines. It is managed by the CSP panels, equipped with easy to read front panel for convenient system operation.

CPS control panels have two non-volatile memories. The first one can store a log of up to 8 999 different events (and alarms), while the other can store up to 9 999 alarms. Facility administrators can export stored data to various popular file formats (like CSV and more). These might be helpful when determining causes of operating system errors.

Convenient operation and remote viewing of system status

The system can also be operated via PSP Remote Operation and Signalling Devices (up to 1 km away from the main CSP panel). These devices, installed in security buildings or other locations provide access to all system functions and its status. The latter can also be monitored via Virtual PSP repeater panel, when connected with a CSP-ETH Ethernet module.

High resistance to false alarms

Dust and dirt may interfere with the proper functioning of smoke detectors, as well as smoke and heat detectors, and trigger false alarms. That is why all the SATEL detectors are equipped with a system detecting contamination of measuring chambers. Contamination is signalled by LEDs, and requires a service call.

Installer benefits

All CSP control panels are sold with already preconfigured settings. This shortens the time needed for system programming to an absolute minimum. The factory settings allow the system to operate smoothly and only require connection of devices to appropriate zones. If these settings need to be changed, the system can be programmed using the panel buttons as well as the PC software.

More than a signalling device

With the ability to configure additional relay inputs and outputs, the 100 and 200 series control panels of the CSP system are able to perform additional functions beyond local fire signalling. For example: the CSP control panels can be integrated with access control systems or voice alarm communication systems.

Maintenance Personnel benefits

The CSP control panels feature a number of well-designed solutions, which facilitate periodic system inspections and maintenance. The service mode is protected by a password, entered via keypads on the front panels. Therefore there is no need to open the control panel enclosure in order to change its configuration. Additionally, the detector testing mode can be performed by a single person only, which in turn reduces the number of people required to efficiently verify the installations.

Efficient diagnostics

Advanced tools for diagnosing individual functional blocks of the installation are a great help in the process of system maintenance. They quickly detect and identify possible faults in the system.

Easy archiving

The CSP control panels can export stored event logs to popular formats (CSV and more). This greatly facilitates the overall archiving process.
